Welcome to St. Michael School! We are part of the Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, which includes six preschool - 6th grade elementary schools, one Junior High and one High School serving more than 2,400 students. The mission of our Catholic school is to form a community of faith and learning through Gospel values and academic excellence.

Welcome to St. Michael Elementary School. Every child in our school is blessed with parents and families who are dedicated to offering them an education filled with rigor and faith. Our teachers are dedicated to students’ spiritual, intellectual and emotional growth. Students are taught with purpose and vision and are guided and provided opportunities to make connections of what they learn, to its relation in the world. Together, students, parents, and staff strive to fulfill the Bishop O’Gorman Mission, “to form a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence.” We are proud of our faith-filled, safe and friendly school community, that offers rigor and support, special traditions, small class sizes and excellent instruction.

We are located on the west side of Sioux Falls on the corner of 26th Street and Marion Road. We are a secure school and the entrance to the school is located at entrance E next to the flagpole.
