A story shared, a song sung, and a new word discovered all help build the foundation for learning. Preschool gives children opportunities to grow their language skills and explore letters and numbers through play.

🔭 October's Virtue of the Month: Foresight
Foresight is the virtue of thinking ahead and making wise choices today for a better tomorrow.
Whether in the classroom, on the field, or at home, we grow in foresight when we consider the consequences of our actions and seek God’s guidance in our decisions.
Happy Feast of St. Michael the Archangel! ⚔️🛡️
Today we celebrate St. Michael, defender of God’s people and leader of the heavenly armies. His courage, strength, and faithfulness remind us to stand firm in what is good and true.
At St. Michael Elementary, we are inspired by our patron saint to live with bravery, kindness, and trust in God each day as we grow in faith and learning together.
St. Michael, pray for us!

📖 August/September: Faith, Hope & Love
This year begins with the foundation of the theological virtues: faith, hope, and love.
Faith helps us trust in God’s plan. Hope gives us confidence in His promises. Love calls us to serve God and others with generous hearts.
As we start a new school year, may these virtues guide our words, actions, and relationships each day. ❤️

🔍 May’s Virtue: Circumspection 🔍
This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re focusing on circumspection—the virtue of thinking before we act, considering the consequences of our choices, and seeking God’s guidance in every decision.
Circumspection helps us act wisely, make thoughtful choices, and live in a way that honors God and others. We’re encouraging our students to pause, reflect, and choose the path that leads to goodness and truth.
